Overview

In this 1.5 hour project-based course, you will learn how to use SQL (structured query language) to join tables, aggregate related data and derive business intelligence. We will do this by analyzing the historical data of a medical specimen pickup service.

Learners will take on the role of an intermediate level database developer to join tables and aggregate related data for calculation using SQL server functions. Then, we will use a report generator to create presentable reports with these SQL statements.

Relational database and SQL are industry standards and this will allow you to transfer what you have learned to other relational database systems as well. This course is aimed at learners with intermediate level of SQL and MSSQL Server.

To succeed in this course, you should have already mastered these skills:

SQLServer:

Tables. SQL:

Select, where, order by.
