Overview

Teaching with AI is the first free training course, in MOOC format, designed for teachers and trainers who wish to explore AI and its applications in education. The learning pathway, guided by Federica AI Tutor, begins in this course by exploring the fundamental concepts and main tools of generative AI to integrate them into teaching activities.

Discover new opportunities to renew teaching methodologies and adopt innovative strategies. Thanks to a video-based approach, the lessons are accessible even to non-experts, allowing key knowledge to be learned quickly.

The course offers practical activities, AI-generated quizzes for self-assessment, and discussion spaces to encourage collaborative learning. Additional materials, such as downloadable slides, useful links, and extra tools, help deepen and consolidate knowledge.

Syllabus

• The magic of AI
This week introduces the basic concepts of AI and its impact on education. It explores instructional applications, opportunities, and challenges related to the use of AI tools. The focus is on ways to interact with chats, APIs, and intelligent agents, along with a reflection on technological evolution and the mindful use of AI in teaching.
• Generative AI for Educators
This week, we explore the use of artificial intelligence in academic research and source management. AI-based tools will be presented to help find, organize, and analyze scientific articles, thereby facilitating the learning and writing process.
• Generative AI for students
This week, we will explore how artificial intelligence can enhance the learning experience by personalizing both individual and collaborative study. We will discover AI tools to optimize interaction with learning materials, boost classroom engagement, and support learning with virtual tutors. We will also analyze the opportunities and limitations of these technologies in education.
• Conclusions
This week, we analyze how Artificial Intelligence is transforming art and education, expanding creative possibilities rather than replacing them. Through real cases and practical applications, learners will explore new tools and innovative methodologies to express themselves and teach with AI.
