Overview
Unlock the financial power of one of the world’s most popular Business Intelligence tools, Power BI! You’ll build upon your basic data preparation, data modeling and DAX skills. Throughout this track, you will learn intermediate finance skills and how to apply them in Power BI dashboards. You’ll review basic financial terms and calculations, as well as explore dashboarding. You will explore terms such as the time value of money and net present value. You’ll discover time series and calculate key financial metrics such as year-over-year calculations and window calculations. Consecutively, you take your skills to the next level by using basic forecast methodologies. Finally, you’ll tie it all together by strengthening your grasp of financial statements by going deeper into cash flow and income statements. You’ll calculate key financial ratios to measure and evaluate the performance of a company.
