The Humanities and Social Sciences are essential for understanding the past, present, and future of our society. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming many aspects of life, including the ways we relate to one another, and is increasingly shaping the disciplines that help us explore what it means to be human.

To you help you grasp the potential and impact of AI in the Humanities and Social Sciences, this course introduces the core concepts, challenges, and applications of AI in these fields. Across 8 modules, you will learn introductory concepts of AI and how they are applied in various fields of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Tailored to professionals across a range of disciplines, the key features of this course are:

Comprehensive, yet accessible learning Learn about AI concepts such as Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) in an engaging and straightforward way. Explore AI’s impact on the Humanities and Social Sciences Discover how AI is influencing society and shaping its adoption in various disciplines, including arts, cultural heritage, education, ethics, law, public policy, regulation, and more.

The course also highlights how these disciplines contribute to the development and responsible implementation of AI technologies. Expert-based course Learn from a group of experts, professors, and researchers who share different theoretical frameworks and use-case examples of how AI is used for humor, arts, cultural heritage, aesthetics, education, and more.
