Overview

Every element of this course is focused on preparing you to understand yourself and how you lead. Your clarity comes from your heart, your intuition, and your mind.

At the end of the day, the way you lead has to come from who you are. It will be up to you to figure this out for yourself.

In this course, we will be joined by the United Airlines former Chairman and CEO, Oscar Munoz. Here, he will share personal lessons of becoming an influential business leader who has successfully worked through some of the toughest cross-functional collaboration scenarios.

These range from delivering unprecedented profits at CSX, to turning around United Airlines, to leading the negotiations between the airline industry and Federal Government during COVID-19 pandemic, just to name a few. In each of these cases, he brought people together and led with an approach that we don’t often see in business by leading with his heart.

This is who Oscar is. Join me in this course to discover how to become an inspiring and impactful leader by learning Oscar’s approach and the lessons he’s learned to become the leader he is today.

  • The path to success is not an easy one. However, it comes down to the choices we make in life. Even when dealt an unfavorable hand, we can choose to persevere. Through sacrifice, learning, and willingness to grow and evolve, we can choose to claim our own agency.
  • Axioms
  • As we evolve as leaders, we define a key set of universal principles that guide the way we behave. These are our personal mantras that withstand the test of time and pressure.
