Overview
The Segmentation and Clustering course equips learners with the core skills necessary to construct and implement clustering models for advanced segmentation in business scenarios. Discover essential concepts including standardization vs. localization, distance, and scaling, alongside variable reduction techniques and the use of principal components analysis (PCA) for data preparation in clustering models. Deepen your understanding of when to employ hierarchical versus k-centroid clustering models and master the process of creating and applying k-centroid clustering models.
Participants will also gain hands-on experience with the data analytics tool, Alteryx, applying learned techniques directly. This course is an integral component of the Business Analyst Nanodegree Program offered by Udacity and falls under the categories of Business Intelligence and Alteryx Courses.
