ABOUT THE COURSE:

Globally AI is transforming law and justice in many ways. India is also adopting AI in Law and Justice in For example Supreme Court of India is using AI facilitated SUPACE and greater thrust in use of AI in law and Justice.

AI based tools in now part of Ecourts Modernization Phase III. Many law firms are using AI based tools while legal tech start ups are active in developing AI based products and services.

The use of AI in Law and Justice while beneficial, raises many questions on impacts of AI on law and justice in theory and practice. This course provides an introduction to this emerging and important theme covering various aspects in AI, Law and Justice, including algorithmic decision making, Responsible AI in law and justice, AI and Intellectual Property Rights, and, AI, legal technology and how AI can transform Law and Justice in more than one way.INTENDED AUDIENCE:
