Are you interested in investigating materials and their properties with unsurpassed accuracy and fidelity? Synchrotrons and XFELs serve as Science’s premier microscopic tools in disciplines as varied as molecular biology, environmental science, cultural heritage, catalytical chemistry, and electronic properties of novel materials.

This second installment of the two-part course is designed to provide valuable insights to a scientifically diverse audience into the broad spectrum of methods utilizing synchrotrons. Topics covered include diffraction and elastic scattering, absorption, fluorescence, and photoelectron spectroscopies, as well as a range of imaging techniques like tomography, coherent lensless imaging, and ptychography.
