Smart Agriculture

Overview

Smart Agriculture is a professional elective designed for agronomy students. It covers an overview of smart agriculture, its current status and development trends, and delves into its overall structure and key components through three core modules:

IoT, Big Data, and AI.

It also serves as a practical course tailored for competitions such as the China College Students' "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.By explaining the principles, technologies, and procedures of smart agriculture system design and offering detailed case studies of practical applications, the course outlines the technical pathways for transforming traditional agriculture with big data and internet thinking. It provides valuable guidance for teachers and students in both agriculture and engineering to carry out teaching practice and innovation activities centered on smart agriculture.

This course plays a significant role in accelerating the cultivation of urgently needed talents in the new agricultural sciences and in supporting major national strategies, regional economic and social development, and rural revitalization.
