This course is designed for procurement professionals who want to stay ahead in a fast-changing global landscape. Learners will explore strategic procurement practices, emerging technologies, and global trends that are transforming the procurement function into a future-ready business enabler.

The course begins with global sourcing strategies, including offshoring, nearshoring, Incoterms, and the role of free trade agreements. It also covers service procurement, helping learners navigate outsourcing decisions, break-even analysis, and supplier management for services.

Sustainable procurement is a core focus, with guidance on integrating environmental and social criteria into supplier selection, specifications, and performance metrics. Learners will also dive into advanced cost analysis methods, including parametric modeling, engineering estimates, and total cost of ownership approaches.

Technology in procurement is explored in depth—from spend analysis and supplier management systems to Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms and reverse auctions. The course also covers Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI in procurement, revealing how machine learning models are reshaping sourcing, forecasting, and supplier engagement.

Further modules include inventory management with a deep dive into traditional MRP and modern DDMRP practices, the role of procurement in S&OP cycles, and demand planning. Learners will also explore quality management methodologies like Six Sigma, PDCA, and Statistical Process Control.

Finally, project management principles are introduced to guide procurement in project-based environments, addressing supplier selection, performance trade-offs, and execution across project life cycles.
