Overview

Develop professional communication in an era defined by global interconnectedness and artificial intelligence (AI). This course will equip professionals with advanced understanding and practical skills to communicate effectively across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts.

Using the Culturally Competent Communication (CCC) Guide and real-world scenarios, the course explores multilingual and translanguaging strategies, empowering professionals to enhance their collaboration, problem-solving, and service delivery skills in complex environments. Through interactive case studies, quizzes, contested dialogues, and reflective practice, you will develop the confidence and knowledge needed to engage constructively with disagreement and diverse perspectives in global professional settings.

Guided by Dr Shuangyu Li, Reader and Director of King’s Cultural Competency at King’s College London, this course will help professionals to create inclusive, equitable and fair workplaces.
