As ESG (environmental, social, and governance) issues continue to gain momentum, companies worldwide need to be able to incorporate ESG criteria into business decisions to make them sustainable. But this can be challenging since there often is no global consensus on the scope, standards, and metrics of ESG performance. Business leaders and industry professionals must educate themselves and embrace the complexity of ESG in order to lead their organizations towards sustainability.
This course is designed to provide professionals from all backgrounds and industries with a foundational understanding of primary ESG concepts. Learners will gain perspectives on how a company’s economic, financial, and ethical purposes can and should be aligned for its overall performance.
