Overview

Redefine the way you teach mathematics with our comprehensive course, "Moving to Maths 2.0." This course is designed to enhance the teaching of Maths by not only highlighting its core principles and applications but also by stimulating curiosity and confidence among students. The goal is to help learners see the relevance of Maths beyond the classroom.

Our course addresses the needs defined by the EU’s Key Competences framework, focusing on developing students’ mathematical competence to problem-solve in everyday scenarios. Participants will engage deeply with the process and activity of Maths, enriching their knowledge and pedagogical skills.

Participants will leave the course with a richer understanding of the importance of innovative and personalized Maths teaching strategies. The course will include the development of a Learning Design tailored to diverse learners, a Learning Diary capturing key insights, and a collection of resources to support Maths activities for students with various dominant intelligence types.

The course structure is influenced by Irina Vasilescu’s successful eTwinning event “Maths for Every Student.” Irina, a seasoned Maths educator and trainer, will actively moderate the course, providing ample opportunities for direct interaction and learning.

This course is ideal for educators looking to enhance their professional development in STEM and teacher training disciplines, provided independently by our educational platform.
