Delve into why efficient and sustainable milk production is crucial. Milk is a vital source of over 16 essential nutrients, including protein, vitamins (A, D, B12, etc.), and essential minerals (Calcium, Magnesium, etc.), making it a fundamental part of human nutrition globally. With most of the world's milk produced from cattle, alongside other dairy animals like water buffaloes and goats, the course also explores the diverse methods of milk production across the top-producing countries, including the United States, India, and the European Union, and the importance of dairy for billions of people worldwide.
