Welcome to the world's first MOOOOO-C on Dairy Production and Management, offered through Coursera by Boston University. This comprehensive eight-week course is designed to equip learners with an in-depth understanding of dairy management, covering critical aspects such as genetics, nutrition, reproduction, animal health, farm economics, and the sustainability of dairy production systems.

Delve into why efficient and sustainable milk production is crucial. Milk is a vital source of over 16 essential nutrients, including protein, vitamins (A, D, B12, etc.), and essential minerals (Calcium, Magnesium, etc.), making it a fundamental part of human nutrition globally.

With most of the world's milk produced from cattle, alongside other dairy animals like water buffaloes and goats, the course also explores the diverse methods of milk production across the top-producing countries, including the United States, India, and the European Union, and the importance of dairy for billions of people worldwide.
