Resumen
Generative AI for Kids, Parents, and Teachers
My son is going to grow up in a completely different world filled with generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, LLama, etc.). I believe this world offers possibilities for creativity and deep thought that will enrich how we think and solve problems.
It's crucial for my son to be equipped for success in this new landscape by understanding how to use generative AI to learn, create, and solve problems.
Although generative AI might seem easy to use, truly innovating and succeeding with it requires a mindset shift in how we approach problem-solving. We need to teach our kids to think more critically about what they are doing.
Over the past year, I worked with my son to empower him with the skills to use generative AI to enhance his critical thinking and creativity. This experience has been distilled into a series of courses designed for both home and classroom use, to help you teach your kids these essential skills.
This is the first course in that series.
Here are some activities we have done that you will learn to do with your kids:
- Take pictures and have generative AI turn them into world records for verification
- Interactive brainstorming to build anything out of any material with generative AI as a partner
- Inventing new games from photos of everyday objects
I also teach a course on Prompt Engineering, focusing on how to effectively converse and problem-solve with generative AI, which has enrolled hundreds of thousands of people. Through my experience, I've learned how companies worldwide are transforming the future of work with this technology.
These courses are specifically crafted to help parents and teachers guide kids towards success in this new world.
You watch the videos, preview the exercises, and lead the kids through engaging activities. You determine what to show and how to best communicate with your children.
Throughout the course, not only will your kids learn to innovate with generative AI, but it will also transform how you utilize it personally.
