In this tutorial, we will explore how to create algorithms with Kismet that will control enemy behavior for your games made with the Unreal Development Kit (UDK). You will learn to exploit the secrets of Kismet to model effective Artificial Intelligence (AI) for bots.

Kismet is a powerful tool for designers aiming to craft combat sequences and gameplay for their games using the Unreal Engine. By the end of this tutorial, you will be capable of:

  • Sending bots on pre-scripted or random paths.
  • Instructing bots to crouch, chase the player, and shoot on sight.
