Les applications conversationnelles ne répondent souvent pas aux attentes malgré les avancées significatives dans la compréhension du langage naturel (NLU) et le marché en pleine expansion des technologies basées sur la voix. Ce séminaire de Stanford se penche sur les complexités de la conception d'interfaces conversationnelles performantes dans des contextes réels, reconnaissant les défis posés par les fautes de frappe, le vocabulaire peu commun et les requêtes sophistiquées. Les participants apprendront une stratégie robuste, de bout en bout, pour développer des interfaces conversationnelles avec une précision de niveau production à travers différentes applications et industries.
Le séminaire explorera le pipeline NLU hiérarchique standard de l'industrie—classification domaine-intention-entité—et introduira une architecture améliorée qui incorpore une analyse sémantique superficielle. Cette approche offre une représentation plus structurée des relations entre entités sans nécessiter une analyse sémantique ou syntaxique complète, qui souvent échoue avec les données conversationnelles du monde réel. La présentation détaillera cette architecture, montrant son efficacité à améliorer la performance des interfaces conversationnelles pour des scénarios complexes.
En outre, le séminaire abordera les défis uniques de la création d'assistants vocaux comparativement aux chatbots basés sur le texte, tels que la mauvaise interprétation de la terminologie spécifique à un domaine par de grands systèmes de reconnaissance automatique de la parole (ASR) agnostiques du domaine. Des stratégies pour naviguer dans les erreurs ASR au sein du pipeline NLU, notamment dans la classification et la résolution d'entités, seront discutées pour améliorer la robustesse du système.
