This comprehensive training course on ”Power Pivot“ in Excel is designed to help trainees build their data modeling and analysis skills.
This course also covers the basic concepts, tools, and techniques used in managing and analyzing large databases, with a focus on “Power Pivot,” an effective add-in in Excel for creating and analyzing data models and visualizing insights.
The training course consists of six units that provide a step-by-step guide to working with “Power Pivot” in the first unit.
Trainees will also learn the basics of data modeling and how to import and clean data from various sources. Additionally, they will explore the “Power Pivot” interface and its features.
The second unit will focus on creating a data model using “Power Pivot,” where trainees will learn how to create relationships between tables, work with calculated columns and measures, and create pivot tables and pivot charts for data analysis.
The third unit introduces trainees to Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), a formula language used for data analysis with “Power Pivot.”
Trainees will learn how to perform calculations using basic DAX functions, create advanced measures, and analyze data using these measures.
In the fourth unit, trainees will delve into advanced data analysis techniques, including time-based expressions, hierarchies, and custom key performance indicators (KPIs). They will also learn to create advanced data models incorporating these techniques to illustrate data trends and patterns.
The fifth unit focuses on data visualization and reporting, where trainees will learn how to create effective data visualizations, design interactive dashboards, and communicate insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
In the final unit, trainees will learn how to automate and streamline data cleansing and transformation processes using “Power Query.” They will also discover how to transform data and create queries that can be used for future analyses with “Power Query.”
Throughout the training course, trainees will engage in hands-on exercises, projects, and real-world scenarios to hone their skills.
Upon completing this training course, trainees will have acquired essential skills in data modeling, analysis, and visualization using “Power Pivot” in Excel.
