Building on your existing AWS knowledge, this course takes you on a deep dive into key AWS services and capabilities. You'll explore cloud migration strategies, database options, data analytics tools, and AI/ML services - gaining hands-on experience through simulations and demos.

Guided by the best practices of the AWS Well-Architected Framework, you'll develop the skills to design and deploy robust, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. In this four-part series, you'll learn key AWS concepts and services to understand and use the AWS Cloud.

In part four, you'll explore cloud migration strategies, database options, data analytics tools, generative AI, and machine learning services.


Course objectives

In this course, you will learn to:

  • Understand the key considerations and strategies for migrating workloads to the AWS Cloud
  • Explore the various database services offered by AWS and how to select the right option for your needs
  • Learn about data analytics pipelines using services like Amazon Athena, EMR, Glue, and Redshift
  • Discover AWS artificial intelligence and machine learning services, including Kendra, Lex, Transcribe, and SageMaker
  • Understand the key terminology related to cloud architecture, including availability, reliability, scalability, and elasticity
  • Apply Well-Architected Framework best practices across the migration, database, analytics, and AI/ML domains
  • Develop techniques for retaining AWS knowledge, such as using AWS Skill Builder and Cloud Quest resources
  • Prepare for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification exam through targeted training and practice
  • Identify resources and strategies for continuous learning and skill development beyond the course
