Aperçu
This course is designed to be an introduction to current government employees as well as individuals aspiring to public service who seek to build a foundational understanding of how artificial intelligence (AI) can enhance mission effectiveness. The course introduces the core concepts of AI and human-machine teaming, including key technologies such as large language models (LLMs), and examines the ethical, legal, and policy considerations that guide responsible AI use in government contexts.
Participants will engage with practical, hands-on scenarios that demonstrate how AI tools can support a wide range of government functions. Through these exercises, learners will assess the opportunities and limitations of AI, explore best practices for integrating AI into daily workflows, and evaluate how human-machine teaming can improve decision-making and service delivery.
This introductory boot camp equips future-focused public servants with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively collaborate with AI systems and prepare for the evolving landscape of government operations.
